Big idea: Human Emotion

Project Description: 

This lesson is a continuation of the last focus building on what students have planned from their emotion ideation sheets. It is important to understand that students' emotions and ideation plans will all be different.

​

I can express my emotion through art

I can express my emotion in art with many different materials

I can express my emotion through art when I can't express it other ways

What emotions are you currently feeling?

Are you feeling/expressing multiple emotions?

How can you express your emotion or multiple emotions on your page?

Teacher preparation/materials:

  • Tempera paint (various colors)

  • Ideation worksheet

  • Paintbrushes

  • Paper (black and white)

  • Water cups

  • Possibly chalk or pastel

​

Student preparation/materials:

  • Clothes that they can get paint/chalk on

  • Pencil

  • Glue/Scissors
