Big idea: Human Emotion

Project Description: Students will map/code prominent emotions with an ideation sheet. Students will be encouraged to explore their emotions and start their main projects for Lesson #2.
​
Essential Understandings:
Emotions are felt differently by different people.
I can use art to express my emotions.
I can express the way I feel, even when others want me to act differently.
​
Inquiry/Learning Target/Objectives:
Students will be able to connect certain emotions with certain colors and forms such as line, shape and symbol.
Students will be able to understand that their emotions are different from others around them.
Students will be able to use associative color to map/code the emotions that they experience.
Students will be able to use/construct a contour line of a side profile of themselves.
